Cultural diversity

Cultural diversity is the concept we use to refer to the different cultures that exist. Every country has it own culture, its thoughts, and a different type of dresses… However, a lot of people don’t accept others’ culture because they believe that these are lower than their customs or thoughts. In the same way that they have a form of life, everybody has to have its. I think the different cultures haven’t been built in a day, but in many years ago. So, nowadays, anyone can change the culture of others.That’s the reason why I consider globalization can’t apply to culture. Every country –as I said before- has a different culture and anyone have to interpose or avoid other costumes.

Eventually, I must say –from my point of view- everyone are equals, with independence of our culture. Our own way of life shouldn’t be us different. There would not be so hatred just for the colour of the skin. We should help each other; we don’t have to annoy the others’ life and we must achieve avoid discriminations and hatreds.

Now in English class we are being the topic about quiz shows and that’s what I will talk about.
Today in television there are a lot of programmes but there are many types of television programmes that teach as a lot of things and make us more intelligent, this programmes are quiz shows and nowadays the most popular quiz show is Who wants to be millionaire?, in Spain this TV programme presented by Carlos Sobera has got a lot of audience and it has got a lot of contestants, but this programme is old and now there is other Spanish quiz show I think more important than this, it is Uno contra cien and it’s a very fascinating programme.

I think it’s more watched because it’s new and there is in one hand a contestant and in the other hand 100 contestants, the presenter makes questions and they have to answer it, the man alone has three helps and the 100 contestants nothing, they have to answer the questions and if the contestants answer well they continue but If the contestants fail the question they have to leave, the purpose of the quiz show is that the man alone has to answer well all the questions and he has to eliminate all the other 100 contestants, if he does it he will win a lot of money, if the man alone fail the question, money goes to people that answered well the question.
This programme it’s very difficult to explain but is very surprising at it’s a new type of quiz show and that makes that it’s very attractive to see.

I recommend you this programme because you will spend a very good time and you will discover things that until before you didn’t know.

At present, many persons suffer illnesses caused by a little balanced diet and a clear lack of physical effort. Doctors and specialists agree with eating a balanced diet like Mediterranean diet that is based on: fruit, meat, vegetables, fish, olive oil. This is a varied diet, which is not always based of the same one.

Sports like swimming or riding bicycle, are sports that are not very tired but that especially in the swimming works a lot of parts and muscles of the body.

A balanced diet and to make sport every day is the solution for many problems cardiobasculars and problems of overweight.

I meet a man that works during the week how an estate agent's and the weekends how Dj for earn a little more of money and because he likes it. He’s my brother.

A Friday with him is very hard. First, he wakes up at eight o'clock and he goes to work at the agency all day. In the evening, he selects the music that he wants to put in the disco and takes it. We needed to arrive in the place at twelve o'clock but at eleven o'clock we were searching for to eat something.

We arrived at the time. He put the music but no one were in there. At the beginning he put progressive music and then will enter more people and they demanded him to put something more slow. After, he put known songs more than the others. We stayed all the night to do dancing all the people

A Dj needs a lot of knowledge about the music, because his work is to do dancing the people and to put the correct music for not to do going out the people from the disco. At the same time is a very funny work!

Like every year, Google, Yahoo, AOL and other web sites dedicated to the search have published a list of the words that we looked for more by Internet. I didn't know it before, but I think that it is an interesting way to know which are our interests. According to the specialists there is no surprise in the two first positions: sex (so, pornography) and Britney Spears (that they think that it is more pornography); but in the third... After satisfying our more intimate desires, the citizens are interested to discover the password of the electronic mail of our neighbour. Thus, the third combination of words more searched in the network is to rob, passwords and hotmail, with different variants and synonymous.
So... We must think that that is really what it matters to us? How is possible that to enter the electronic mail of the neighbour it is the third thing that more interests the citizens? How can be that to spy the mail of the others is more important to us that everything that has happened in the 2006?
